About Kinesiometrics

Kinesiometrics was founded by Dr. Basil, Dr. Yoon, and Dr. Wang after extensive philosophical discussions regarding patient outcomes, and how best to judge the relative efficacy of different treatment interventions. Dr. Basil has a strong background in financial modeling, and firmly believed that much like cash-flow modeling for complex financial assets, the problem of patient outcomes should be addressed by modeling patient’s quality of life “cash flows”. This idea, coupled with Dr. Yoon’s extensive technology and startup background, along with Dr. Wang’s unparalleled clinical expertise led to the development of an objective outcomes assessment tool. This tool leverages existing smartphone technology and serves as the backbone of the Kinesiometrics platform.

Vision

At Kinesiometrics, we passionately believe in harnessing the power of objective activity data to perform detailed, and complex outcomes assessments. We have developed a powerful suite of reporting tools leveraging our own industry expertise, coupled with advanced statistical analysis to provide a succinct, and comprehensive picture of the disease process, from injury, to treatment, to recovery. These tools can be leveraged by patients, physicians, insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies, and device manufacturers to not only understand and gauge response to treatment, but to also quantify this response and understand its temporal course.

Mission

Our mission is to establish a new standard in outcomes assessment using objective activity data to guide the way to better, more efficacious treatments.
